This wine bar is very small & was fairly crowded on a recent Sunday. They have an upstairs area plus an outdoor patio. We sat at the bar for a quick drink & an appetizer. I ordered a glass of red wine & my hubby ordered a beer, plus we split meatball sliders. They have wine & champagne flights. The wine list was not huge but was fine, they have a few beers on tap, and maybe 6-8 cocktails they can make. Our bartender was nice but slow in taking our order & slow in getting us our bill that we requested. Overall though it was fine.

We stopped in for a glass of wine, they had a nice selection of wines by the glass. The food looked appetizing on the menu though we didn't partake as we had dinner plans later in the evening. We will definitely stop by again next time we're in New Hope.

I made reservations for lunch at Nektar on a Saturday to celebrate my friend's birthday, and it was a fantastic experience. The space is absolutely beautiful, with an open, airy layout that's perfect for enjoying nice weather. The restaurant was spotless, and the modern décor added to the ambiance. While the gluten-free options were limited, I was able to find something suitable and was pleased with the flavors. The service was excellent from start to finish--attentive and friendly throughout. We also enjoyed some celebration cocktails, and though their cocktail menu isn't extensive, everything we ordered was delicious. Nektar is an ideal spot for groups or something more intimate--you can't go wrong with this place. It's a great choice whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a lovely place to relax and enjoy a meal.

Our favorite spot in the New Hope / Lambertville area. The view and experience on the outdoor deck in the back is wonderful. You overlook a slow moving stream and the downtown of New Hope. The indoor section also open to the outdoor during nice weather. The menu offers many small plates for sharing and has high quality choices. The wine list by the glass or bottle is nice and overall this place hits the spot for the way we like to dine. That is, sharing small plates and wine or cocktails. The also offers interesting drink choices such as Mead. Each time the service has been excellent. Definitely recommended. Give it a try.

I was not expecting the food to upstage the wine at Nektar, but it did just that. The menu includes a long list of delicious-sounding tapas, sandwiches, charcuterie, cheese, and other goodies. We mostly relied on our server for recommendations, and she gave us some great choices. Honey tomato bruschetta (Whipped ricotta, thyme, basil): this was so good! Maybe my fave dish of the night. A big, sprightly pile of tomatoes piled onto crispy toasts with a creamy layer of cheese and topped with honey. So decadent! Moses sleeper (cow cheese): No wait, this was my favorite! This brie was so creamy and nutty and delicious. However, I do wish it had been served with more accoutrements. Beet salad: this was uber fresh and made me feel like I had gone foraging out in the country for my dinner. Golden and red beets combine with decadent goat cheese and pecans, which were kind of unusual in a beet salad but worked really well. Korean fried wings: really good; the breading had a nice crunch. Sweet and umami soy flavors, and lightly spicy. Lightly spicy. I had the light white wine flight and a glass of Lucashof Trocken (dry) Rosé. All were good, but I need to highlight the standout, the rose! Really great option if you like a dry, but fruity and refreshing, rose. I can really see Nektar becoming a go-to for us on our visits to New Hope! The ambience is also very nice, both inside of the restaurant and out on the patio, which overlooks the water.

If you think that a wine, beer, and whiskey bar can't also have great food- think again!! While these sandwiches may look regular, they are anything but! We got the Italian grilled cheese and Maple bacon grilled cheese- INCREDIBLE. (I especially loved the maple bacon, it really made the sandwich) and of course you can never go wrong with a little cheese board and tacos Side note: since I'm not a huge whiskey gal the staff was sooo lovely in helping reccomend stuff for me, and even let me try a few things!

Fabulous tapas and either wine, beer & whiskey spot with delicious appetizers. Great vibe with a modern flare located in the New Hope Village! Really love this spot, looking for somewhere to have dinner with four people who are looking to have fun. I went to Yelp and picked this spot because it had lots of shareable appetizers, craft beer, and a beautiful selection of wine, and also a get lot of different whiskey options. Location looked modern and contemporary with big glass windows and lots of fun! And boy was I right! We really had a blast, and I highly recommend this spot! Great for tourists, like me, a date or a fun, work group for lunch or after working hours! Our table had a high back chair with a low support for the back, but it was very comfortable and we really had a great time. There is a very large table in the center of the room that only has stools to sit on, not a problem for some of the younger people but I'm glad I didn't have to sit there because I do get back pain after a while, and it becomes uncomfortable for me. I'm not going to be able to remember everything that we had but their bruschetta option was out of this world! Their chicken wings, their pumpkin, ravioli, incredible flatbread, so good! The spinach pie is a very large appetizer compared to the others and delicious. Rice balls were fantastic! You can't go wrong, they recommend two plates per person at the table so we actually got eight plates for four people and that was great! We also got their ice cream cookie sandwiches for dessert and let me tell you that was one of the best things I've had in a long time! One issue I had was that they serve premium whiskeys, but their ice machine only gives them crushed ice. I am not a whiskey snob, but apparently it's a mortal sin not to use a regular square ice cube, with whiskey and never use crushed ice. Obviously it melts faster and dilutes these premium whiskeys. We asked the waitress and she said that's all they get, but this is certainly an area for improvement. Highly recommended spot. If you're looking for a fun place for dinner, they have a small balcony overlooking the lake in the back for outdoor seating. It looked really great, so if you're into the outdoor seating scene and want a high-level view of the street and the lake outside. Make sure you ask for that spot when making a reservations, as there are only about three or four tables out there

I've come here a number of times over the past 6 years although this is my first time back since the COVID pandemic. I am always conscious to try and support the local businesses in New Hope. This was one of my favorite restaurants for small plates and a warm atmosphere. Unfortunately I can't put my finger on it although it's lost a bit of its original charm. I would rate their food about a 3 by todays visit. You definitely need to make a reservation for the weekends and state where you would like to sit. I did not have a reservation so I had to settle for either one of the two tiny tables by the bar, sit at the bar or outside which was not great as it was cool and windy. The host and waiter were nice. One issue was the bartender served the two small tables so although he did his best he had to walk around the entire bar to get us it was not convenient if we needed to get his attention. The restaurant is nice although we did not get to sit in the main area so we lost the view and we're in a cramped corner. They have an extensive wine, liquor and beer list and the list of drinks is more than twice the size of the menu for food. The food today was just ok, these are small plates and the dishes we had were really bite size. I'm being a little critical as I remember my last experience being much better with much more tasteful dishes. We started with the Ahi Tuma tacos. You get 3 bite size tacos, one issue is the tuna is cooked well done which is not a great option for Ahi tuna. I would have thought they would offer it raw or black and blue. We also had the Mexican corn salad. This was ok and did not have a lot of flavor. Very small portion probably 4 or 5 teaspoons. Last was the lobster sliders. This was two small sliders, overpowered by the slice of tomato on each. Normally this comes with bacon which I opted out of. Nothing special more Mayo and tomato flavor. I would recommend them for drinks or hanging out at the bar. You need to order a lot of small plates to get filled up. Sorry to say I'm on the fence if I will be back as it's just not up to my previous experience.
